FGBA Awards
GOVERNMENT ATTORNEY OF THE YEAR AWARD
The Florida Government Bar Association annually recognizes an exemplary lawyer in government practice with its Government Attorney of the Year Award. The purpose of the award is to recognize an attorney employed in government practice, who has demonstrated professionalism in the practice of law and performed above and beyond the call of duty. Past winners have headed multi-year litigation resulting in million of dollars in recovery for Florida taxpayers or responded in keeping with the best traditions of our profession to unspeakable acts of violence.
Nominations are open to any attorney in government practice. The award is announced at the following January membership meeting.
